Growing up between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, I developed an early appreciation for the outdoors and the beauty of B.C. After deciding to call Vancouver my permanent home in 2002, I pursued a career in ballet, but ultimately felt called to the world of design. In 2007 I decided to take a leap and enrolled in Interior Design school. After graduating in 2009, I began my career working in multi-family development and custom single-family homes.

As my love for fostering client relationships and building development grew, I decided to create a company of my own. I felt the world of design had become stagnant and habitual. I wanted to help clients step out of their comfort zones and celebrate their individuality.  With the intention of merging function with form, Sarah Marie Interior Designs was born in 2010. Since then, my work has been featured in full page spreads in international magazines, and I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with renowned artists and architects.  I hope my reputation for the love of design will live as long as the spaces I create.
